Mom kept her jewelry in those little boxes from the department store. The necklaces would get all knotted and tangled. I could spend hours removing the knots and polishing them shiny, placing them back in that little box again only to retangle. She used to tell me I had great patience.

As a souvenir, coins would come home and end up in a scrap book or in a bag for occasional viewing at some later time. Then I asked my husband to take some of my favorite coins and have a necklace or bracelet made. When I opened that gift, the fever, or ferver, began and Travelling Coin Designs was born!
