Not just AI mega-models, but also to the size of datasets, data augmentation, parameter values, the growth of service users, fake news, labor exploitation, trust and ethics issues, etc. We want to think about whether these pluses fill in or replace something we already have and if so, to what extent(). These changes have acted as key factors in shaping contemporary art.\n\n\nThe exhibition \"MILITARY ABSTRACTION\" takes an interdisciplinary approach, considering the intersections of art, artificial intelligence, and technology as its starting point to discuss the autonomy of contemporary artists. This exhibition raises questions about whether contemporary art overly depends on the 'post-' image, neglecting the complexity of its surrounding connections, or if there is a risk of art becoming a mere tool for discourse generation. Building on these inquiries, the exhibition offers a critical perspective, questioning whether art should merely embrace the visions and conditions offered by new technologies, or whether it should also challenge how art aligns with the obsolete structures of technology.\n\n\nText: Jisoo Seo \nSupported by: Arts Council Korea (ARKO)\n\n\t\n\n\n","thumb":"189690262","thumb_meta":{"thumbnail_crop":{"percentWidth":"119.97601279317698","marginLeft":-9.98801,"marginTop":0,"imageModel":{"id":189690262,"project_id":33821775,"image_ref":"{image 8}","name":"horizontal.svg","hash":"aeb902847382898dafb27eb27f0a03dd8fb0d74cdf72e09a45dcc99093f7c05f","width":3001,"height":1876,"sort":0,"exclude_from_backdrop":false,"date_added":"1693797263"},"stored":{"ratio":62.512495834722,"crop_ratio":"4x3"},"cropManuallySet":true}},"thumb_is_visible":true,"sort":5,"index":2,"set_id":0,"page_options":{"using_local_css":false,"local_css":"[local-style=\"33821775\"] .container_width {\n}\n\n[local-style=\"33821775\"] body {\n\tbackground-color: initial \/*!variable_defaults*\/;\n}\n\n[local-style=\"33821775\"] .backdrop {\n}\n\n[local-style=\"33821775\"] .page {\n}\n\n[local-style=\"33821775\"] .page_background {\n\tbackground-color: initial \/*!page_container_bgcolor*\/;\n}\n\n[local-style=\"33821775\"] .content_padding {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] bodycopy {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] bodycopy a {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] bodycopy a:hover {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h1 {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h1 a {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h1 a:hover {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h2 {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h2 a {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] h2 a:hover {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] small {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] small a {\n}\n\n[data-predefined-style=\"true\"] [local-style=\"33821775\"] small a:hover {\n}","local_layout_options":{"split_layout":false,"split_responsive":false,"full_height":false,"advanced_padding_enabled":false,"page_container_bgcolor":"","show_local_thumbs":false,"page_bgcolor":""},"pin_options":{}},"set_open":false,"images":[{"id":189690262,"project_id":33821775,"image_ref":"{image 8}","name":"horizontal.svg","hash":"aeb902847382898dafb27eb27f0a03dd8fb0d74cdf72e09a45dcc99093f7c05f","width":3001,"height":1876,"sort":0,"exclude_from_backdrop":false,"date_added":"1693797263"},{"id":189690579,"project_id":33821775,"image_ref":"{image 12}","name":"scopebln----.jpg","hash":"eb868098cf1d1b02aaaf1e97e689cadc4d1d45986bd05f7471a5433a29287653","width":3508,"height":4961,"sort":0,"exclude_from_backdrop":false,"date_added":"1693797751"}],"backdrop":null},{"id":33821776,"site_id":1133264,"project_url":"Page-2","direct_link":"https:\/\/seojit.org\/Page-2","type":"page","title":"Page 2","title_no_html":"Page 2","tags":"","display":true,"pin":false,"pin_options":null,"in_nav":false,"is_homepage":false,"backdrop_enabled":false,"is_set":false,"stack":false,"excerpt":"Group Exhibition\n\n\n\n\nI\u2019M SO SICKLE OF IT\n24\/11\/2022 - 27\/11\/2022\n\nStokey Pop Up:\n147 Stoke Newington High Street, N16 ONY, London, UK\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtists were given...","content":"\n\tGroup Exhibition\n\nI\u2019M SO SICKLE OF IT24\/11\/2022 - 27\/11\/2022\nStokey Pop Up:147 Stoke Newington High Street, N16 ONY, London, UK\n\n\n\nArtists were given the opportunity to respond to themes of a political, sociological and spiritual nature - in the context of current world events and\/or the future.
